The creation of the Tonisborg book required two sets of maps to ensure everything aligned properly. David Megarry (author of Dungeon! board game and an original Blackmoor player) joined the team, producing an entire hand-drawn set of 10 maps. These interstitial maps were not published, but were essential to deciphering the complex original set of maps from 1973 and used as a reference by Toby Lancaster to create the final maps.
